I usually just go by Need, Take, Have online but my friends know me as Jess

the Interview

1. What are your hobbies? Reading, Eating, Sleeping, Watching TV, Playing with my dogs and not in that order. 2. What is your dream job? To be a paid writer :) 3. If you could go anywhere in the world for a vacation, where would you go? Probably to Ireland, England type of places so I could see castles and all the green in Ireland :) 4. How would you describe yourself with just three words? Jeez... everyone keeps asking me this, lol and it's so hard! 'To The Point'? :) 5. If you could live in one fandom (the fandom is real and you live in it), which one would it be? Doctor Who -- cause the TARDIS? Wouldn't it be exciting to travel around through space AND time? 6. What graphic program do you use? Paint Shop Pro, Gimp and Photoshop but mainly Photoshop. 7. How did you discover livejournal? God, I don't even remember -- MANY years ago, like.... 8? maybe not, but a LONG time ago. 8. What does your livejournal name mean and why did you pick it? Faith, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, said "Want, Take Have" as a motto, sort of like her expression "Five By Five" but I think at the time, that was taken so I did this :) IDK why I picked it, just came to mind :) 9. Would you describe yourself more as a shy or outgoing person? Depends... I'm more outgoing really I'll say -- it just depends if I want to make the effort or not but basically outgoing. 10. If you could actually meet one real person or fictional character of your choice, who would it be? Lois Lane from Smallville, to ask her if I can switch places with her -- I mean who doesn't want a superhero boyfriend/fiance/husband? :))

Great interview! I found the fandom-related stuff particularly interesting. Oh, and I want to be a professional writer, too--novelist, specifically. Funny how a lot of people with writing aspirations find their way on LJ . . . :)

LOL, yeah, I know.... I was really close when I was 16, wrote a book in a movie, sent it to a publisher and it was going to probably be published. At the time, I was going through manic depression and was "manic" as in "up" at the time but then I crashed and burned and burnt everything - literally.

Oh yes, I'm currently working on a new romancee novel, a young adult novel and an auto bio :)

Plus I've written a ton of fic and have like 50 unfinished/in progress ones :)

That's great! I guess those projects keep you pretty busy, between the three of them. :)

I'm working on a young adult fantasy/period novel, too--and hoping I'm not the only one that thinks half-elven Victorian vampire slayers is an awesome thing to write a book about.

I haven't even bothered to count how many fanfics I've left in limbo . . . Maybe 10?
